About Me:
Rita McGrath holds the position of Managing Director, for Cambridge Medical & Rehabilitation Center in the United Arab Emirates.
Her track record in Executive Leadership & Strategy, Operational & Performance Management, Quality, Patient Safety & Risk Management, Facility Management, Patient Experience Management, Clinical Operations, and Support Services Management has been significant.
Prior to joining CMRC, Rita worked at New York Methodist Hospital and Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, United States of America, the Office of Deputy Premier and Minister of Health and Long-term Care in Ontario, Canada, and at the Supreme Council of Health in Qatar.
In addition, as she moved to the United Arab Emirates, she has held different responsibilities including leading managerial roles at SEHA Ambulatory Healthcare Services, Corniche Hospital in Abu Dhabi. Rita also served as the COO at Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital in Umm Al Quwain and at Al Zahra Private Hospital in Dubai.
Most recently she was at Health point, part of Mubadala Healthcare in Abu Dhabi as the Director of Operations where she optimized the hospital’s operating capabilities, employed her strategies to maximize customer satisfaction, and managed cost-saving strategy initiatives.
Rita’s responsibilities at Cambridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center will see her cover CMRC facilities in the UAE. She will be working closely with the medical experts and the operations team to deliver quality patient care and world-class services.
Rita hails from Canada and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Science from Carleton University, and a Master in Business Administration from the Southern New Hampshire University, USA.
She is a Certified Healthcare Executive from the Canadian College of Health Leaders in Toronto, Canada.
