Biography
Dr. Howard is the Group Chief Executive Officer for the Cambridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center, and brings extensive experience in healthcare management, hospital administration, risk management, quality improvement and patient safety to his role.
He has served in positions of responsibility – including as Vice President of Medical Affairs, Chief Medical Officer, and Chief Quality Officer, for a number of healthcare organizations throughout the United States. He has discharged duties as Vice President and Medical Director for AIG/American General Life Companies, and as National Chief Medical Officer for NextCare Urgent Care.
Prior to joining CMRC, Dr. Howard served at SEHA/Abu Dhabi Health Services in positions including Group Chief of Staff, Group Operations Director, and Chief Medical Officer for Al Ain Hospital (SEHA).
He is a graduate from the Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in the State University of New York, as well as from the St. Louis University School of Law. He has completed his MBA in Management and Finance from the Olin School of Business, Washington University in St. Louis.
He is a member of the Gamma Beta Sigma, the International Business Honor Society, and also a fellow of the American College of Legal Medicine.
