Biography
Dr Karthick is currently the Group Director of Operations at Cambridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center (CMRC).
Dr. Karthick Prasanna is an accomplished Healthcare Operations Executive with over 20 years of experience in diverse healthcare systems, serving large as well as small (50 to 500 beds) healthcare facilities in both public and private sectors in the international healthcare arena.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executive (FACHE). His PhD on JCIA is an invaluable guide to the Joint Commission International Accreditation to any healthcare business. He also has an MPhil in Health System Management and a Masters in Hospital Management.
Before joining CMRC, Dr. Karthick was a member of the senior management team and a proud contributor to several remarkable success stories at Corniche Hospital (operated by SEHA & managed by Johns Hopkins International, USA). At the New York University Abu Dhabi, he was Director of Operation Services Management. Earlier, he has worked with GangaSheel Group of Hospitals in India, executing numerous green-and-brown field projects, and was also a key resource partner with ThirdbrainXL in Singapore.
Dr. Karthick is an expert in Healthcare operations, strategies & performance, projects, and contracts management. He is respected as a professional mentor, coach, and motivator. He also taught as an Adjunct Faculty for Hospital Administration at the Gulf Medical University in Ajman (UAE). He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and is actively engaged as a member of the American College of Healthcare executives and the American Society for Quality.
