Biography
Dr. Rober Hanna Kassab is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist at Cambridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center.
Dr. Rober is a highly experienced Physiatrist and has been qualified as a Medical Doctor from Aleppo University with an emphasis on specialization in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He has worked and acted in many different roles throughout his extensive career, a few of which to mention as Medical Manager of Disabled sports in Aleppo, Chief of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Centre in Aleppo, Director of the physically disabled examination committee for special cars importation in Aleppo. As well as volunteering as a physiatrist in the Dubai club for people of determination and on-going role as chief of the medical team of Khorfakkan sports club.
Previous to his joining to Cambridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Dr. Rober was Working as a Physiatrist at the Thumbay Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital in Ajman.
Dr. Rober is an international classifier of wheelchair basketball, working with the international wheelchair basketball federation (IWBF), and an Anti-doping committee member in the United Arab Emirates. Has been rewarded by Albasel prize for health scientific researches twice in the cession of physical medicine and rehabilitation in Syria, for “How to develop physical medicine and rehabilitation in Aleppo”, 2001 and “Our duty towards disabled”, 2002.
As to present, he is a Member of the Administrative Board of the Syrian Association of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation; Dr. Rober has prepared and translated a book into Arabic for ‘Independence motivation in stroke patient’ which was published by the World Health Organization.
Dr. Rober hails from Syria and is fluent in Arabic, English, Turkish, and Armenian.
